Brewster Academy Athletics

Ms. Brigham is a graduate of Connecticut College in New London, Conn., where she was a science major and a member of both the varsity soccer and lacrosse teams. After graduation, she completed a one-year science teaching fellowship at Culver Academies in Indiana. At Culver, she taught a molecular cell biology course and was also the head JV soccer coach and varsity assistant lacrosse coach. After the fellowship program, she joined the science faculty at Hail-Manas-Academy, a private college preparatory boarding school in Debre Birhan, Ethiopia where she taught world geography. In addition to teaching, Ms. Brigham was head of the co-educational soccer program and served as a residential and academic advisor. She has also served as a volunteer EMT!

“I’m excited about helping students reach their highest potential both inside and outside the classroom,” Ms. Brigham says, noting that she is passionate about social-emotional learning. “Aside from its beautiful location, Brewster has a wonderful reputation in both academics and athletics and this is what drew me to this school.”
