Jeff Gore recently completed his second season as head coach of the Boys' Basketball Prep AA Team. Coach Gore will assume head coaching responsibilities of the AAA Team for the 2023-24 season. Over the last two seasons, his coaching record is 42-18 (.700). Coach Gore has 20+ years experience as a college coach at the NCAA D2 level at Southern New Hampshire University. He was part of a coaching staff that led the Penmen to 13 NCAA Tournament appearances. As a player, Coach Gore was inducted into the College of Saint Rose Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007. He graduated as the school's all-time leading scorer (1,803) and all-time leader in scoring average (18.6). He also finished his career fifth all-time in assists (381) and eighth all-time in steals (172). Furthermore, he is still listed among the Top 10 in field goal percentage (.542) and 3-point field goal percentage (.399) in addition to owning the school record in free throw percentage (.879). One of only two players in the College's history to amass more than 1,800 points and 350 assists, Gore was a two-time, first team NYCAC All-League pick and a three-time, ECAC All-East selection. The owner of the College’s single-game scoring record of 45 points (February 13, 1993 at C.W. Post), Gore was a member of the College’s first NCAA Tournament Team.
